Stirling and Son design and build traditional wooden yachts based on the designs of the classic yachts of the past. An example of our work is a 43' Victorian gaff cutter. Built of larch on oak with copper and bronze fastenings she carries 2,000 square feet of sail in her gaff cutter rig. With her elegant counter stern and swept and tapered deck of Oregon pine she is a true classic. Down below her interior comprises of fielded oak panelling with leather buttonholed upholstery giving her the feel of the classic yachts from designers such as WM Fife, C Nicholson and GL Watson.

Stirling and Son offer a complete restoration and rebuild service including research and re-drawing lines of classic yachts of any size.
